Hey Parents

From before we even became parents, we knew we wanted the best education possible for our children. We knew of a school that would embrace the individuality and agency of our children while building their character and giving them room to fail and learn.

But that school didn't exist in St. George, UT and for us it was the only option, so we started it.

Along with 350 other owners, we believe Acton Academy delivers on everything we dreamed of school to be and know that it closely aligns with the values of Southern Utah residents. We'd love to show you how.

OUR STUDIOS

Everything you need to know about our Studios.

The journey starts here.

The process of finding the right school for your family can be challenging. Each school has their own process and expectations. For us, we refer to our application process as an "audition." Now, before you start planning out choreography for a family dance routine, as cool as that would be, we are auditioning for you as much as you are for us. This is intentional to make sure Acton Academy St. George is the right fit for your family and for our community.

Our unique audition process acts as your guide to discover the beliefs and promises we ask you to make as an Acton family. You will be asked to read a book, reflect on your personal beliefs about education, etc. to make sure that you are prepared to make the promises we ask of our community.

We recognize that we likely ask more of you in this process than other schools but we know that the process is both enjoyable and important to make sure we maintain a thriving community of life long learners.

The following steps outline the audition process and through this time, we hope you come closer as a family and find what you're looking for, whether that's us or something else. We accept applications year round. We are now accepting applications for the 2024 - 2025 school year.

You can learn more on our admissions page.

Following our call, we'll schedule a time for you and your family to come tour our campus at Acton Academy St. George. This will be an opportunity for us to get to know you and for you to know us, as well as see our space and ask any questions you might have. We look forward to seeing you soon!

3
Submit Application

Following a tour, if our school is the right fit for your family, you'll begin the formal application process. We ask the following of families in this process.

  1. Read Courage to Grow by Laura Sandefer
  2. Complete our Initial Application Form
  3. Schedule a "trial" for your Child to experience an Acton Studio
